skins opening

Sound
The soundtrack on skins is really fast pace. The mood of the music is very happy and cheery, I think this would make the listener interested. I think we could use a similar soundtrack to this because it seems quite easy to do with lots of different sounds and rhythms. There is no diagetic sounds and I think this works however in our idea we have some, but not much. We have decided to keep the soundtrack that we used for our story board because we think that it really suits our film and ideas.
Editing
When editing they have added lots of different shapes and effects. There are lots of different colours in front of the actual video, I really like this idea and I am thinking about how we could put something like that in our idea. There are no titles in this opening sequence but our one must have titles because it is a film, we could put effects and colours on the text that are similar to this opening sequence. The opening changes a lot one image doesn't stay for long.
Mise-en scene
In these opening sequences there are lots of props such as alcohol and drugs, we are going to use similar props. It is set in a normal town, there are scenes sometimes inside and out, the video flicks from scene to scene a lot. there clothes are very young and colourful. We are going to use the same sort of clothing. Our scene is taking place inside and outside.
Camera work
I think that they have taken images from the actual series but we are going to be setting up the story so we are going to need to create something that makes more sense and sets up a mood for the viewer. there are not just people in the opening there are lots of different things such as the scene it is set in, there are lots of images with out the people. There are lots of different types of shots such as, close up shots, long shots, medium shots, there are some extreme close-up shots of eyes, mid shots, over-shoulder shots and wide shots. We need to make sure we have a good variety of shots to help create the story and entice the viewer
